Why we build this.

An accounting firm does the same work for every client every month. The statements come in, someone books every line and reconciles every account, the papers go to SharePoint and the job is ticked off in Karbon. Then the next client, and the next month.

It is careful, skilled work, and it never stops coming back. Firms find it harder every year to hire the people who do it, so it lands on the ones already there, in the evenings.

So we build software that does that work itself. XARA closes a client’s month in QuickBooks from the moment the statement arrives: it books the lines, reconciles the accounts, files the papers and marks the job done in Karbon. Nobody has to start it or check on it, and it never writes to a client.

When it cannot tell what a line is, it does what a careful bookkeeper does. It parks the line in the holding account, goes on with the rest, and looks again when the evidence turns up. A month with something material still unknown is never called final.

The other half is the questions. Partners and staff spend hours asking each other where a client stands. The connector answers them in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot, from the firm’s own Outlook, SharePoint and Karbon, and the AI sees a code where each client’s name would be.

All of it runs in Microsoft Azure, XARA inside the firm’s own subscription. We build it for accounting and tax firms and for nobody else.
