Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Proxara, Inc. ("Proxara," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the website at proxara.ai (the "Site").

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site operators. Cookies may be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remaining on your device for a set period or until you delete them).

2. Cookies We Use

2.1 Essential Cookies

Proxara does not currently use essential (strictly necessary) cookies on the Site. The Site functions without requiring cookies for basic operation.

2.2 Analytics Cookies

Proxara uses Google Analytics 4 ("GA4") to understand how visitors interact with the Site. GA4 loads only after a visitor accepts analytics in the consent notice shown on the Site; no GA4 script runs and no data is sent to Google before that choice is made. When accepted, GA4 sets the following cookies:

Cookie NameProviderPurposeDurationType
_gaGoogle AnalyticsDistinguishes unique visitors by assigning a randomly generated identifier2 yearsPersistent
_ga_*Google AnalyticsMaintains session state and tracks page interactions (GA property ID suffix varies)2 yearsPersistent

GA4 collects aggregated data including pages visited, time on page, referral source, approximate geographic location (city or region derived from IP address), device type, browser type, and operating system. GA4 uses IP anonymization by default and does not store full IP addresses.

Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

2.3 Other Technologies

Proxara does not use retargeting pixels, fingerprinting, heatmaps, session recording tools, or social media tracking pixels on the Site.

3. Local Storage

The Site may use browser local storage (not cookies) to store:

KeyPurposeData Stored
pxr-consentRemember the visitor's analytics consent choiceThe word "granted" or "denied" (no personal data)

Local storage data is not transmitted to Proxara's servers or third parties.

4. How to Control Cookies

The Site shows a consent notice on first visit. Analytics cookies are set only after "Allow analytics" is selected; selecting "Decline" keeps the Site fully functional with no analytics running at all. The choice can be changed at any time via the "Cookie preferences" control in the Site footer.

4.2 Browser Settings

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Instructions for common browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions

Disabling cookies may not affect your experience on the Site, as the Site does not require cookies for basic functionality.

4.3 Google Analytics Opt-Out

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by:

  • Installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
  • Using browser extensions that block tracking scripts (such as uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger)

5. Third-Party Cookies

Proxara does not allow third parties to set cookies on the Site other than Google Analytics as described above. Proxara does not participate in ad networks or cross-site tracking.

6. Changes to This Policy

Proxara may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated date.
